The Under 16 & Under 17 girls hockey team had a fantastic day at Clifton College on 12th November 2023, winning two games and drawing one.
In their first match, they faced Herefordshire and were dominant from the start, winning 5-0. All five goals were scored by different players, with excellent team play on display throughout.
In their second match, they faced Wiltshire and the game was much closer. The Clifton girls took the lead in the first half, but Wiltshire equalised in the second half.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw, but the Clifton girls were still pleased with their performance.
In their final match of the day, they faced Avon and won 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored in the second half by a brilliant individual effort.
The Clifton girls played some excellent hockey throughout the day and were worthy of their results. They showed great skill, teamwork, and determination.
