U15 Girls & Boys Assessment Evenings 2018
The GHA will not be running a full Development Programme this year for the U15 age group. We shall be holding four evening sessions for players to be assessed for possible progression to the GHA U15 Academy Squads.
The U15 Girls will be at Dean Close School, GL51 6HE on Monday 3rd, 10th, 16th, 24th September 2018. Sessions start at 6.30 pm through till 8pm.
The U15 Boys will be at Oxstalls Sports Park, GL2 9DW on Monday 3rd, 10th, 16th, 24th September 2018. Sessions start at 7pm through till 8.30pm.
Nominated players and their parents have been sent email notification of the dates and venues.
Further to the summer Development Centre programme we are pleased to announce the dates and venues for U13 & U14 Girls & Boys Autumn Development Programmes.
For the U13 age group there willbe 4 training sessions plus a match play festival to finish the cycle in October. There will be two centres in use for this autumn.programme.
Cheltenham Centre dates and venues: Sunday 2nd, 9th, 23rd September - Dean Close School, GL51 6HE- 10am till 11.30am,, Sunday 16th September - Cheltenham Ladies College, GL50 2NX - 10am till 11.30am, Sunday 7th October Dean Close School, GL516HE - 10.am till 12.30pm for match play festival
Wycliffe Centre dates and venues: Monday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th September - Wycliffe College, GL10 2JQ - 6.30pm till 8pm, Sunday 7th October Dean Close School, GL51 6HE - 10.am till 12.30pm for match play festival

Players and Parents in each age group should by now have received email notification of the autumn programmes.
At the convened Annual General Meeting of the GHA on Wednesday 23rd May not enough people were present to form a quorum. Hence the members present were unable to complete the required business.
A Special General Meeting will therefore be held on Monday 2nd July 2018 starting at 7.30pm at the Cheltenham Civil Service Club, Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham, GL51 9SL
The business to be conducted shall be:
1. Amendments to GHA Constitution
Clause 7.0 The Committee, Sub Clause 7.2:
The membership of the Committee shall be the officers of the association and;
County Umpiring Secretary, County Disciplinary Administrator, County Indoor Secretary,County Youth Co-ordinator, County Welfare Officer, Men’s Clubs League Representative, County Masters Representatives,HUA Representative, Two (2) Club Representatives, Men’s Senior Manager / Coach, County Web Master**
Two (2) County Youth Coordinators
Two (2) County Masters Managers (Men & Women)
2 Adoption of Minutes from 2017 AGM
3. Adoption of Reports from 2018 AGM
· Treasurer’s Report & Affiliation Fees
· Adoption of Treasurer’s Report, Affiliation Fees & Financial Statement
5. Election of Officers & Members of the Committee
6. Any Other Business (by permission of the Chairman)
Could we ask that every effort is made that a representative from your club or school is present at the meeting in order to vote on the various matters of business please. Reports from the 2018 Annual General Meeting held Wednesday 23rd May will be available in hard copy from 7.00pm to read prior to the meeting commencing.
There are vacancies on the committee that urgently require filling. We require a Secretary, a Minute Secretary, a Welfare Officer. a Club Representative and a Senior Men's Coach, The GHA is nothing without volunteers who give up a little bit of their time to help run it and without that some of the tournaments, matches and events you all enjoy may not be able to go ahead due to lack of volunteers. With this in mind we would implore you all too please circulate the notice within your clubs/schools and encourage any able and willing volunteers to contact the Chairman, Ian Harvey: firstname.lastname@example.org
